The Ouderkerkerplas
Just outside Amsterdam, the Ouderkerkerplas is a well-known nature reserve. This beautiful lake, located near the picturesque village of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, also serves as a recreational area for the uninhabited, including a beach. The Ouderkerkerplas is a former sand extraction pit, dug for the construction of the A9 highway.
